We invite applications for pre-doc as well as post-doc positions

For pre-docs, we are looking to hire high performing B. Tech. and Masters students with exceptional quantitative aptitude, problem-solving ability and strong programming skills. Background in probability, optimization, linear algebra and learning theory will be preferred. Hired pre-docs will collaborate with the faculty and researchers on ongoing research projects at the Centre. This would be an exploratory research experience for the pre-docs that exposes them to a career in research or hi-tech industry in financial mathematics and/or in data science and machine learning. For the research oriented students, it may open up a window to an exciting career path starting with a PhD at a world class research institute.

Similarly, we look for post-docs with ongoing research in a rigorous mathematical area, with exceptional quantitative aptitude, problem-solving ability and strong programming skills.

We also look for post-docs who have expertise in diverse data science and machine learning techniques.

A post-doc at the centre will prepare them for a research and development position in hi-tech industry in financial mathematics and/or in data science and machine learning, or for an academic career in these areas.
